We have posted about this before but it is increasingly important that humans start taking responsibility for their actions which includes disposing of waste properly. Electronics that are thrown away the old fashion way - in the regular garbage - can be incredibly harmful to the environment. Please check out the website Earth911 for local electronic recycling centers. If this sounds like too much, start small with recycling your batteries! Most hardware stores have a drop off for locals!
