Idea number 2: Make Your Bed Your Own Oasis
Getting sufficient sleep can change your life! Make sleep one of your top priorities for 2010. We are going to try to get eight hours a night! Whole Foods says, "According to the Mayo Clinic, most adults need between seven and eight hours of sleep each night. During deep sleep, our bodies restore themselves. Scientists believe during that time, our bodies regenerate and help the healing process such as repairing tissues and releasing hormones."
You will sleep better if you love your bed. New sheets and blankets are nice but costly, so we have thought of a better DEAL! If you have the cash to spend on new threads for your bed, by all means go for it! But if you are watching your spending after all that holiday shopping, try buying a scented sheet spray for your bed! It is inexpensive and will make a huge difference! A few sprays of lavender, chamomile, or mint essential oil (all of which can be purchased at Whole Foods) on your pillows will let you drift off into sweet sweet slumber. Lavender is our favorite and it is said to calm and relax the body! Sweet Dreams...
