Interior Design at its Finest
Interior design, like any other art is a matter of taste. We receive Architectural Digest every month and MAYBE find one room that inspires us but we keep the magazines as bookshelf ornaments because it is an interior design aesthetic we have seen in so many houses. Unlike the traditional digest, we find ourselves appreciating Kelly Wearstler's work more and more each time we see it. She has designed such commercial interiors as the Viceroy Hotels in Palm Springs, Miami and Santa Monica as well as the Avalon in Beverly Hills and the Tides in Miami. Her newest book HUE organizes her room designs by their hue and promises to be a work of art in and of itself. Looking forward to picking this one up at the bookstore this weekend!
