Sea Sponges and Body Oils

Winter weather can bring on unwanted dry flaky skin. We love the combination of natural sea sponges for exfoliation and body oils for hydration. Natural sea sponges are wonderful because they are a gentle exfoliant that is less harsh than body scrubs which may be too abrasive for sensitive skin types. Whole Foods and Trader Joe's both carry a great selection of sponges and oils. Also, check your local farmer's market for lavender oils. Some of our favorite picks are rose scented almond oil from Whole Foods and Jo Jo Ba oil from Trader Joe's. Now that is a relaxing way to REVIVE your skin!
Fresh Flowers
We love to peruse the flower stands at our local farmer's market. Fresh flowers can be purchased for as little as $3. Flowers are an inexpensive way to add a burst of color to your home and we guarantee they will make you smile! With Easter coming up, remember that tulips are in season! And roses are always classic.
In the weeks to come, check out our Flower Power posts where we will write the names and attributes of all those flowers you recognize by sight but have no idea what to call them! Take time to stop and smell the roses. They are natures way of reminding you that life truly is absolutely beautiful.
