Clove Oranges
Clove Oranges are a great holiday craft project that you can enjoy for weeks! After completing the simple project, hang the clove orange in you kitchen and enjoy the aroma from the cloves soaking up the juice inside the orange. For just a few dollars, this is a great gift idea! This clove orange was made a cookie party a girlfriend had. What a great idea!
Directions:
1. With a glue gun, glue desired ribbon around the orange by placing glue dots on top and bottom of orange. Tie a knot at the top.
2. Push cloves (can be purchased on the spice isle of your local supermarket) into the orange in desired pattern.
3. Hang in the kitchen and enjoy! When it is dried out, you can boil it to further enjoy the aroma!
Up close and personal: The cloves were placed randomly here but feel free to create designs with the cloves on your orange.
